When I was little I would turn my nose up at sweet potatoes. Little did I know what I was missing out on. Now I LOVE sweet potatoes and look for any excuse to serve them.

This is my FAVORITE sweet potato recipe.

Savannah Style Praline Sweet Potatoes

• 6 cups of peeled, chopped and boiled fresh sweet potatoes
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans nuts
• 1/2 cup coconut
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 4 tablespoons melted margarine

1. Heat the oven to 350°.
2. Arrange the drained sweet potatoes in a well oiled 2 quart casserole.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle this over the tops of the sweet potatoes.
4. Bake for about half an hour, or until the top is crispy brown.

Serves about 8.
