The Thrifty House was selected to be part of the Thrill of The Grill House Party. I love participating in house parties because I get to try new products and share them with my friends and families. It’s so easy and we always have fun.
Our party pack included:
Free Oscar Mayer Hot Dog Coupons
Oscar Mayer Tongs for the host
Oscar Mayer Oven Mitt Set for the host
Oscar Mayer Soft Baseballs
Oscar Mayer Frisbees
Oscar Mayer Plates and Napkins
PLUS recipes, game suggestions, and decorations.
We just added the friends, family, and fun.
Since many people celebrate Father’s Day cooking out on the grill I thought I’d share an easy recipe that I received as part of my Oscar Mayer Thrill of the Grill Party.
Easy Chili-Cheese Dog
Prep Time: 5 min. | Total Time: 14 min.
Makes: 6 servings.
What you need!
6 OSCAR MAYER Selects Angus Beef Franks
1 can (15 oz.) chili
6 hot dog buns
1?3 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1?3 cup chopped onions
Make it!
HEAT grill to medium heat.
GRILL franks 7 to 9 min. or until heated through, turning occasionally.
MEANWHILE, heat chili as directed on can.
Place franks in buns; top with chili, cheese and onions.
Serving Suggestion:
Prepare using OSCAR MAYER Wieners.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing.
Creative Leftovers: Substitute reheated leftover homemade chili for the canned chili.
In keeping with the FCC Guidelines I want to let you know I did not receive any financial compensation for this post. I did receive the House Party pack described above from House Party and Oscar Mayer. I wanted to share this recipe with you because it is a tasty and thrifty recipe in my humble opinion.

That’s the way I like mine…except for the onions. We really like chili-cheese dogs around here!
