* Ping Pong Dim Sum in D.C.’s Chinatown has some interesting promotions for Mother’s Day, May 13. All moms get complimentary bags of flowering tea, and moms who share their child’s proudest or most embarrassing moment get a free glass of champagne. If you can’t bring your mom, text her from your seat, show your server and get a free dessert.
* Pottery Barn Kids Mother’s Day Tea Party Event, May 12 at 3 pm and 4 pm (they are offering the event at both times). Ages 4 and up. The Streets of Southpoint location is participating. * If you are in New York City for Mother’s Day you might want to stop by Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square.
