Fernbank Museum of Natural History celebrates summer with its annual 97 Days of Play series, featuring a full season of programs, events, activities, celebrations, giveaways and more. The 97 Days of Play summer series is offered between Memorial Day and Labor Day, officially kicking off on May 29, 2012 and running through September 2, 2012.
In addition to the new special exhibition The Scoop on Poop, which opens May 26, Fernbank will offer plenty of ways to keep visitors entertained during the hot summer months when school’s out and the long, restless days of summer start to set in.

The Cartoon Network Move It Movement Tour
Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Make your move with Cartoon Network and the Move It Movement at this special preview event before the national tour kicks off later in June. This high-energy event has goal kicking drills, 3-point challenges, and tons of other fun activities that encourage kids to test their skills with their friends. The Move It Movement tour is an exciting interactive event that will motivate, energize, and educate kids and families about living an active lifestyle.
