High angle detail view of a Thanksgiving dinner

As we all know eating at home saves you money so when the people at Relish contacted me about their site I had to check it out. As a teacher who teaches Entrepreneurship I admire Mom-entrepreneurs like the moms who run this website. Relish has many excellent tested recipes not one of which takes more than 30 minutes to prepare.

The ladies of Relish gave me the opportunity to sample their site for FREE. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner I checked out their Thanksgiving recipes. The recipes included:

HERB RUBBED ROASTED TURKEY
PERFECT GRAVY
APPLE SAUSAGE, CRANBERRY AND CORN BREAD STUFFING
GREEN BEANS WITH LEMON ZEST
BOURBON SWEET POTATOES
CRANBERRY ORANGE RELISH
PUMPKIN BREAD PUDDING

The dinner plan began with a detailed grocery list and then provided easy to follow recipes for each of these items.

They also has a section for having a great tailgate party that was planned with every detail, from start to finish. They provided the menus, grocery list and setting.

For subscriptions at $7 a month, you’ll choose five complete dinners for a family of four plus a dessert each week. You’ll find a whole lot to choose from including freezer meals, vegetarian menus,
super-quick and slow cooker recipes.

Here’s the good news. The people at Relish are offering one of my readers a FREE one-year subscription to their meal planning service.

I am not a big football fan but if I were, I would bring my cheese ball recipe to a tailgate party. It is 2 packages of cream cheese, a pack of ranch dressing mix, and a can of chunk chicken drained. Mix and form into a ball. Then roll in pecans. Serve with crackers.

Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite side dish with the holiday turkey is make ahead potatoes. I mash potatoes with a block of cream cheese and 8 oz sour cream. I transfer it to a baking dish and dot with butter. It gets baked for a half hour at 350 degrees.
